Ellen and Lona are Nani's two friends from junior high. They appear in the Lilo & Stitch: The Series episode "Retro".
Physical appearances[]
Ellen has brown hair in a bob cut, green eyes, and appears to be Caucasian. She speaks with a high-class accent that reflects having spent much of her adult life in the upper classes of New York City.
Lona has blonde hair in a messy beehive, black eyes, and appears to be Black. She speaks with a more excited and informal voice reflecting having spent much of her life in Los Angeles. She also appears to have a disability with her legs, as she always uses forearm crutches when walking. Her disability is never remarked upon by anyone, though Nani and Ellen playfully remark at the end of "Retro" how she's "deadly" with her crutches (which they only refer to as "that thing") to all three's amusement.
Background[]
Nani, Ellen, and Lona know each other from junior high, though Nani didn't keep in touch them. Lona owns a cosmetics company, while Ellen yachts around the world. They arrive in Kauai on vacation where they reunite with Nani. They assume she's vice president of the Birds of Paradise Hotel and tells her about their careers. Ellen invites Nani and her family for dinner on her yacht. Nani surprised they become so successful and worried about inviting the group to the party. They meet the Lilo, Jumba and Pleakley upon arriving at the party and Lilo tries to lie for her sister. For a while, everything goes well until Stitch shows up with Experiment 210 (Retro) and he devolves Lilo, as well as Jumba, Pleakley, and even Ellen and Lona. After Stitch made Retro turn everything back to normal, Nani apologizes to them, to which they accept and continue their vacation with her.
