Picker, A.K.A. Experiment 049, is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba. He is designed to pick fruit from Jumba's neighbor's tree. His one true place is in an orchard.
Experiment 049 was the 49th genetic experiment created by Jumba with Hämsterviel's funding. He was designed to pick fruit from Jumba's neighbor's tree
049 and the other first 624 experiments were deactivated and smuggled to Earth by Jumba during his mission to capture Experiment 626.
All of the experiment pods were released and scattered across the island of Kauai.
049 is seen in his pod form in Stitch! The Movie.
At an unknown point 049 was activated, tamed, and named Picker.
The first 624 experiments, including Picker, were round up by Leroy and taken to a stadium to be destroyed. However, Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley, Reuben and Gantu arrived before the experiments could be destroyed.
It is unknown whether Picker participated in the following battle between the experiments and the Leroy clones.
The Leroys soon gained the upper hand in the battle, but were defeated when Lilo, Stitch, Reuben and several other experiments performed the song Aloha Oe, which caused the Leroy army to shut down due to the original Leroy's failsafe.
Picker is a green experiment with large ears and long legs, resembling a cross between a ostrich and a frog's. He has short arms, especially compared to his legs, with three fingers on his hands. His arms are connected right beside his ears, with have pink-orange insides, and his legs come in right below his chin. He has a fairly big nose, and a large mouth that takes up most of the face. He has a small, pointed tail sticking out right behind his legs.
Picker's legs bend the opposite way then most organism's, so they function more as climbing tools than for running. Due to the way they bend, along with their size, it makes it easier to bend over something, such as a fence, as he doesn't need to lean over.
- In Stitch! The Movie, his pod says 49 instead of 049, possibly due to the angle.
- Picker's pod color is white.
