"Snooty" is the forty-ninth episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. It aired on May 13, 2005.

Plot[]

While Lilo, Stitch, and Victoria are having fun taking zombie pictures, an experiment pod activates, unleashing a bat-like experiment on the island. By evening, the experiment finds its way to Victoria's and tries to attack her. Victoria believes its a vampire, and calls Lilo and Stitch for help, who arrive with their vampire hunting gear. Then Gantu shows up to capture the experiment, only then do Lilo and Stitch realize its not a vampire. However, Victoria still believes it is a vampire. Stitch fights off Gantu, but the experiment escapes. At Lilo's House, Lilo looks up the experiment on Jumba's Computer and finds a match: Experiment 277, designed to mine and enrich Snootonium, a rare intergalactic energy source that becomes unstable and dangerous once enriched. Fortunately, there is no Snootonium on Earth. Lilo names it "Snooty" and sets out to capture it, redeem it, and find its one true place. Victoria, however, feels they should "slay" it. Lilo tries to convince Victoria that Snooty is not dangerous once redeemed, but Victoria remains skeptical.

The next day, out on the streets, Snooty appears and another attempt on Vitoria, prompts her to hide in Officer Kahiko's police car. During this assault, Stitch challenges Snooty, only to be attacked and sucked dry by the experiment, leaving him weak and fatigued. Following this attack, Victoria vows to slay the experiment despite Lilo's protests. Lilo brings Stitch home, where Jumba discovers he has been drained of all mucus. Stitch's body is 62.7% mucus, and Snooty's attack has left him temporarily dehydrated. Jumba has also discovered that mucus has a chemical composition similar to Snootonium. Thus Snooty's programming draws him to individuals with large quantities, like Victoria's allergies, which explains why he keeps chasing her.

Meanwhile, Victoria is in a hardware store looking for items to slay Snooty with. She then notices Gantu and decides to team up with him to slay the experiment. Using Gantu's shuttle, the two track Snooty down to his cave in the Hawaiian mountains, where Gantu uses Victoria as bait to successfully draw Snooty out. Lilo soon arrives with Pleakley and is shocked to see Victoria with Gantu. Victoria claims that Gantu is helping her slay Snooty, but Lilo manages to convince her of Gantu's treachery. Gantu blasts Snooty into a net, but the latter is then saved by Victoria and Lilo, who both fight Gantu for the experiment. After being free, Snooty rests contentedly in Victoria's arms. Victoria finally realizes Snooty is not a monster, and apologises to Lilo for not trusting her. Lilo tells Victoria that she was kind of right about Snooty being a "snot vampire". After Snooty uses his mucus-sucking powers to clear Victoria's sinuses, she decides to keep him as a pet.

All the while, 625 informs Gantu that Hämsterviel has cut the cable (aside from one channel: The Sandwich Channel) until Gantu catches Snooty. Eventually, Gantu finds out that 625 lied just so he could have the TV all to himself. In the end, they watch the Macki Macaw show together.

Trivia[]

  • Moral: Trust your friends, and be trustworthy to your friends in return.
  • Snooty is an obvious parody of Count Dracula and vampires in general, except that vampires suck people's blood.
  • When Snooty is activated and Gantu goes to check the analyzer, some clips from "Swirly" can be seen on Gantu's TV, when Stitch was doing his act on Look at This! and the judges commented on him.
  • Victoria initially mistook Snooty for a real vampire, thus fearing him and wanting him dead.
  • In this episode, Victoria is informed about the existence of aliens, as Lilo revealed to her that Stitch, Snooty, and Gantu were actually aliens.
    • She is also the only human aside from the main group to know the existence of aliens.
  • Shoe's holographic silhouette appeared on Jumba's computer.
  • When an injured Pleakley warns about how dangerous Jumba's experiments are, he points to Stitch who is seen shredding the curtains. It is unknown if Stitch or any of the other experiments mauled Pleakley at some point.
  • It is revealed that Stitch's body is 62.7% mucus, which is similar in composition to Snootonium, allowing Snooty to attack Stitch and drain all of his mucus, causing him to become temporarily exhausted from dehydration.
  • Gantu shows a soft side when he watches the Macki Macaw show on TV with Reuben.
